The Climate change - Migration Nexus

The UN forecasts estimate that there could be anywhere between 25 million and 1 billion environmental migrants by 2050. Millions may be unwilling or unable to leave strained environments in India and its bordering nations. This panel will discuss the climate change-migration nexus, urgency of need for action, to unify forces at a global, national, inter-regional and grassroots level to address migration as a failure of adaptation, or a form of it.
